ABSTRACT
The article announces the plan of Lenzing Group to buy Pedex, the German filaments manufacturer in 2007. According to the article, the deal is considered a good extension of the company's takeover of the Hahl Group since it would boost Lenzing's production capacity to meet the growing demand for industrial synthetic brushes. Pedex produces plastic filaments for cosmetics, hygiene and industrial applications. Its parent company, Coronet Group, filed for insolvency in 2005.
