ABSTRACT
The article reports that VDC Corp., a cable provider which extends television network over the Internet, has appealed to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to obtain compulsory distribution rights to cable television networks. According to the author, the company is convincing the agency that video-rich Web sites deserve access to cable programming. He states that the company will rake in big profits if it succeeds.
