ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the restructure of Country Music Television Inc. (CMT) of which they now broadcast Miss America Pageant for the second time aside from country songs. CMT executives explained that they are also distressed to make reasons why they are showing the Miss America pageant or "The Dukes of Hazzard" when these are not related to their main audience which are mainly middle-American families. Surprisingly, most of their viewers are women who mostly enjoy the pageant process.
