Cable Hooks Up With Dating

The article reports on the increased spending of dating services for cable networks and Internet in the U.S. According to the data of Nielsen Monitor Plus, the medium has garnered $130.6 million from dating companies during the 11 month period in 2006 which showed an increase of 48.7% from $87.8 million in 2005. While the dating service spending in the Internet has captured a $127.3 million in the first 11 months in 2006 which showed a 43.2% increase from $88.9 million in the 2005.
