ABSTRACT
The article reports that Black Entertainment Television (BET), a network company, is planning to have its serious steps towards animation by 2008. BET is planning to produce four or five primetime animated series, as well as a handful of animated interstitials for its move to diversify its programming lineup. BET is also planning to create animated shorts as part of its new series "The Five."
