ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to telecommunications in the U.S. Superstation WGN is promoting Chris Gilpatric to vice president and director of affiliate relations in New York City. The Sportsman Channel is launching a video-on-demand channel, which will offer cable subscribers access to hunting and fishing in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Cable One is creating a stand-alone HDTV tier that it plans to roll out to most of its cable system in Phoenix, Arizona.
