Wireless Operator Faces Costly Transition

The article reports on the transition of Capitol Connection, operator of a four-channel wireless cable system, to digital transmission to continue serving its customers in the U.S. The transition would cost the operator $2 million or $1,123 per subscriber located in 550 buildings. Its customers can either purchase its digital set-top boxes or convert digital signals to analog on the roof.
