ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The UFC started in 1993 by Robert Meyrowitz, owner of Semaphore Entertainment Group. Dana White bought the UFC name and octagonal ring from Meyrowitz for two million dollars. The UFC made significant growth after it introduced the "Ultimate Fighter" television program.
