The article reports that digital basic-cable network BBC America, which is owned and operated by BBC Worldwide Ltd., has unveiled a new logo emphasizing the "A" in its channel's name. According to general manager Kathryn Mitchell, the decision to change the logo was designed to communicate that it shares various lifestyles even though its programming is from England. BBC America will maintain the red, white and blue colors but eliminate the Union Jack symbolism.
