ABSTRACT
The article reports on the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing video-on-demand (VOD) advertising by cable television networks in the U.S. In a summit conducted by Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau, participants have discussed the various contributions offered by VOD. It was stated that VOD helps promote online products to a large group of customers. However, some participants stresses that VOD also offers problems such as the duration for its usage and the difficulty in inserting tools.
