NAB Won't Aid Dish Cause

Hearin, Ted
November 2006
Multichannel News;11/13/2006, Vol. 27 Issue 45, p32
The article reports that the National Association of Broadcasters will oppose legislation that would allow EchoStar Communications to escape federal injunction cutting off distant-network feeds to 850,000 satellite homes in the U.S. EchoStar is hoping that the Congress will pass a law that would void an injunction and allow the company to continue beaming television stations to its Dish Network customers who cannot obtain the same programming locally with off-air antennas.
