ABSTRACT
The article discusses the results of "Multichannel News" magazine's survey about how much local operators should pay TV stations monthly to retransmit their signals in the U.S. 5% of respondents said that local operators should pay 10 cents for monthly license fee. 3% of respondents said that local operators should pay 50 cents. 92% of respondents said that operators should not pay because they help broadcasters reach viewers.
