Slow Start in Ratings for 'Sopranos,' 'The Shield'

Home Box Office's premiere of "Soprano Family Movies" on April 8, 2007 has attracted 7.7 million viewers, 19% lower than the 9.5 million who watched the first entry season on March 12, 2006. Fx's "The Shield" drew 2.3 million viewers on April 10, 2007, slightly above its 2 million viewers for its April 3 season premiere.
