ABSTRACT
The article reports on the disagreement between Democratic and Republican legislators in the U.S. over whether a $1.5 billion federal fund is enough to ensure that millions if analog television (TV) sets keep working after all broadcasters being sending TV signals in digital format in early 2009. Democrats think that consumer backlash is inevitable is the size of the program is not at least doubled.
