ABSTRACT
The article reports on the approval of the shareholders of Univision Communications Corp. on the $13.7 billion planned sale of the company in the U.S. The deal is expected to close in the spring of 2007 after it will receive all the regulatory approvals. According to the company, more than 80 percent of its shares voted, which represents about 60 percent of its outstanding shares.
