ABSTRACT
The article reports on the selling of mobile phone services by Comcast and Time Warner Cable through their joint venture with Sprint Nextel in selected test markets in the U.S. Comcast has launched a marketing campaign that promotes the Mobile Access service. Time Warner has started selling mobile phone service in Austin, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina, through the direct-marketing pitches and plans to launch a wider marketing effort.
