ABSTRACT
The author advises not to believe the hype, which he considered as word of mouth, reputation, advertising, marketing and public relations. He says that it is part of his duty to teach the other staffers and keep their content hype-free. He suggests the use of hype as an instrument for one's investigation. He notes that, in the customer relationship management (CRM) world, there are businesses and initiatives that are rich of hype.
