ABSTRACT
This article profiles Hector and Norma Orci, the husband and wife co-chairs of the Los Angeles, California-based advertising agency La Agencia de Orci & Asociados, in line with their expansion to Chicago, Illinois in 1999. Starting in 1982, the couple move to the U.S. from Mexico to start a Hispanic division for advertiser McCann-Erickson Worldwide. Four years later, they negotiated a spin-off and created La Agencia. As of November this year, the company has over $67 million in billings and its clientele includes American Honda Motor Co. and Allstate Insurance.
