ABSTRACT
This article reports that National Broadcasting Co. television network has named its in-house advertising department as NBC Agency. John Miller will be president of the agency. Vince Manze will take the title of executive vice president-creative director. NBC executives said the move gives it the latitude to cement the department's expanding duties. Its clients will continue to be wholly owned NBC units or companies in which the network has a minority stake. The move was necessary because the network needed a clearer image when dealing with the cable, Web sites and other businesses of NBC.
