ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Terayon Communication Systems, developer of the CherryPickerdigital-video processor by Motorola Inc. for about $140 million in cash in the U.S. According to Motorola's Connected Home Solutions president Dan Moloney, the acquisition of Terayon will enhance Motorola's end-to-end portfolio for the delivery of next-generation services.
