The article focuses on the retail strategy of investment firm Sun Capital Partners Inc. in the U.S. According to Wickes President and CEO John Disa, Sun's overall strategy is to look for underperforming companies, either undercapitalized or undermanaged, and to get them focused on a viable strategy to build enterprise value. Room To Go president and CEO Jeff Seaman notes that the thing that has changed about Sun since its entry into the industry in 2002 is its buying power.
