Norwalk goes 'green' in a variety of ways

The article reports on the plan of custom upholstery maker and retailer Norwalk Furniture Corp. to shift to eco-friendly, soy-based foam and use recycled materials to meet its packaging and fuel needs in the U.S. According to president Rick McKirahan, the company understands the need to bring products to market that not only promote health and well-being but also conservation of the environment. The company also uses water-based glue, eight-way fabricated seating system and natural fibers.
