HP heads pack in Q1 worldwide PC shipments

This article focuses on the reports released by market research firms International Data Corp. and Gartner Inc. concerning worldwide computer shipments. The firms pegged year-over-year growth of shipments at 10.9 percent and 8.9 percent respectively. Leading the industry was Hewlett-Packard with its market share at 19.1 percent and 17.6 percent respectively.
