ABSTRACT
This article reports on the promotion of Nicholas J. Ferrari to general manager for business development at Ad Age Group, as of November 1999. He will oversee custom publishing, association relationships, database businesses and reprints. Ferrari was most recently director of marketing and communications, and will lead and search for his successor in that role. He reports to Publisher Jill Manee. According to Manee, Ferrari's promotion to oversee the new division will assure the strategic direction and resources to continue the company's strong growth in the area. In a separate move, Jim Whelan, was promoted to eastern region sales manager, from sales representative.
