ABSTRACT
The article relates the author's experience while attending the first anniversary celebration of Q Center which coincided with its monthly bingo game in Portland, Oregon. Slices of cake made by Q Center interim coordinator and master baker Tim Healea was served during the pregame show. The author chatted with Veronica Ledox, who was recruited to do post-doctoral work studying how pesticides on produce affect the nervous. He watched the exhibit of photographs by Antimo Cimino.
