ABSTRACT
The article reports developments in the telecommunications industry. Echostar Communications Corp. and Google Inc. plan to introduce an automated system for buying, selling, delivering and measuring television (TV) advertisements. Quebecor Media Inc. and Etc.tv have commercially launched the world's first telescopic advertising solution. Intel Corp. has also partnered with Tandberg Television Ltd. on a new broadband TV programming solution.
