This article presents news briefs related to the pharmaceutical industry. AstraZeneca is to locate its Innovation Centre China (ICC) at Shanghai's Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in China. AstraZeneca has also inaugurated a process and development laboratory next to its research and development centre in Bangalore, India. Eli Lilly plans to invest $150m over five years to expand drug-discovery research at its Centre for Systems Biology in Singapore.
