ABSTRACT
The article reports that Dow Epoxy has chosen Shanghai, China as the site for its two planned worldscale production facilities for epoxy resins. The company's 150,000 tonne per year glycerine-to-epichlorohydrin (GTE) plant and 100,000 tonne per year liquid epoxy resins (LER) plant will be located in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP). Feedstock for the plants will be provided by Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical, according to a letter of intent signed earlier by both parties.
