ABSTRACT
The article relates the experiences of the Ephrata Rescue, an independent provider of specialized rescue services, during the June 2003 flooding event in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The rescue team tried to search for the vehicle that wash flashed away by the water. Ephrata Rescue covers the first-in rescue services with nine boat operators on a boat and shore-based operations.
