ABSTRACT
The article presents a discussion of the ways that the cognition of art and science are similar. The author notes that during the Renaissance period, many "masters" of the time did not differentiate between their studies of art and science. All their work was adding to their knowledge and the knowledge of others. The studies of both disciplines use unique terms and terminology to define intrinsic and intangible ideas. The author hopes that emphasizing these similarities in the classroom will enable students that were previously disenchanted by science to better appreciate and understand the subject.
