ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the decline of Quaker Fabric Corp.'s net sales of $32.6 million and net loss of $5.1 million in fiscal year 2006. It was found out that the company's financial results for the first quarter in 2007 include a pre-tax restructuring charges of $300,000. Its domestic fabric sales were down at 33 percent to $25.6 million. Its head count at the end of the quarter was 917 as part of restructuring. It also expected to close on its headquarters building's sale by the end of April.
