Akdeniz gears Izmir plant for production

The article reports on the acrylic impact modifier plant to be established by polymer additives producer Akdeniz Kimya in Izmir, Turkey. Construction for the 20,000 tonne/year plant is expected to start by the end of the second quarter of 2007. Kemal Kaplan, purchasing manager, claimed that the acrylic impact modifier capacity of the company would triple and the overall end product capacity will increase through the plant.
