ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of fertilizer major Mosaic. The operating profit of the company reached $34.2 million, due to higher selling prices and volumes for potash. Overall net sales were $1.28 billion, which increased by 19% from the previous year. Potash net sales rose by 50% to $342.7 million, while operating earnings rose by 316% to $67 million.
