ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Turkish industrial gases firm Birlesic Oksijen Sanayi by The Linde Group. The transaction is valued at €92 million. It represents Linde's second major deal in Turkey, having bought Karbogaz in July 2006. The deal excludes Linde's LifeGas medical gas segment, its SpectraGas rare and specialty gas unit, as well as its Caribbean and Canadian gases business.
