It is suggested that one must consult a financial adviser to fully understand the options of paying ordinary income on his retirement savings. The author also suggests that the most efficient way to transfer the funds from a company retirement plan to a rollover Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is to make a direct trustee-to-trustee transfer.
