ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience as one of the agricultural students at Sparsholt College in Hampshire, England. He found the welding course very useful and they are making a toolbox using their newfound skills. Livestock lecturer Bob Clay accompanied them to a seminar on British agriculture beyond the single payment scheme. They also went on a trip to an arable farm that has gone into do-it-yourself (DIY) horse livery as a diversification.
