ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the regular Friday-night dinner event held by Fran O'Briens Restaurant and Sports Bar in Washington, D.C. for wounded U.S. soldiers and their family members. According to Hal Koster, manager of Fran O'Briens, they started offering the dinner/night out about August 2003. Sergeant Wasim Khan remarked that a lot of the soldiers look forward to coming each week and meeting other wounded soldiers from the different veterans organizations.
