More time now available to bid for Carom Onesti

This article states that AVAS, the Romanian privatization agency, has again pushed back its deadline for offers for Carom Onesti until May 9, 2007. Carom Onesti manufactures synthetic rubber, latex, methyl tertiary butyl ether, acetone, liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline and other chemicals. AVAS expects to achieve at least $34 million from the sale to erase debts to energy suppliers and to add funds to state budget.
