ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the results of the J.D. Power and Associates National Health Insurance Plan Satisfaction Study on consumer satisfaction with its health plans in the U.S. Performance factors in member satisfaction, including customer service, that were identified in members are listed. The study excluded areas that were beyond the control of a plan, such as benefit design. It also says that plans in the western part of the country garnered the lowest scores for claims processing.
