ABSTRACT
The article reports on the penalty of $60,000 that was given by Mark Kenney, the former chief executive officer of K-12 supplemental publisher WRC Media Inc. after being proven guilty of a civil suit filed against him by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the U.S. Kenney is also prevented from breaking financial reporting regulations of the Securities Exchange Act. Moreover, he is not barred from serving as a director of a public company.
