ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience when she went on an assignment with her Senior Producer Jim Wildman and their interpreter, Qahir into a Taliban stronghold in Pashmul, just outside of Kandahar City, Afghanistan in the fall of 2006. Their interpreter and his friend, Qassim recounts their experience under Taliban rule.
