Wheel-balancing definitions

A list of wheel-balancing terms and definitions is presented. The term backspacing refers to the distance measured from mounting face to the back edge of the wheel. Bead seating is the process of seating the tire to the rim bead seats. Dynamic balance is a procedure that balances the wheel assembly by applying correction weights in two planes.
