ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to the television program "The Sopranos," which started in 1999. According to Newsweek television critic Devin Gordon, the first season of "The Sopranos" was one of the transformative moments in TV history. Gordon added that Network TV Ltd. was scandalized by the show at first but it quickly realized this was the future. According to Paramount CEO Brad Grey, one of the show's original executive producers, the show altered the business of television.
