ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Transmeta Corp. to dismiss more employees as part of the second phase of its restructuring plan. In relation to the employee reduction, the company exits its operations in the engineering and microprocessor sectors. The employee reduction in March 2007 affected employees who had remained with Transmeta to complete engineering services work for Sony.
