ABSTRACT
The article reports on lectures on mattress flammability standards in the U.S. bedding industry, delivered at Therapedic's 2007 annual meeting in Orlando, Florida by Allen Podratsky, president of Global Supply Chain Partners, and Don Hofmann, consultant of Louisville Bedding. The lectures focused on fire science, on quality assurance and record-keeping requirements and marketing opportunities for fire-resistant bedding and mattress pads.
