Consumer discovers racist label on sofa

The article reports that a leather sofa purchased by a 30-year-old black consumer from Ontario furniture retailer Vanaik Furniture and Mattress had a label describing its color as Nigger-brown, according to "The Toronto Star." Romesh Kumar, assistant manager at Vanaik, said that the supplier of the sofa was Cosmos Furniture. Cosmos in turn said that the sofa was manufactured in Guangzhou, China.
