Ashley buys four stores

The article reports that Rockledge Furniture, a subsidiary of Ashley Furniture HomeStores, has acquired the four Ashley stores in Chicago, Illinois from the Slovy family who operated them and has signed new leases for all stores. The Slovy family, owner of Bay Furniture, had cash flow problems. Ashley Chairman Ron Wanek said that Ashley Furniture HomeStores has grown to about 308 stores.
