ABSTRACT
The article offers insights on video game sound design and development. Alexander Brandon, audio director for Midway Home Entertainment states that the tools for developing video game soundtrack are still very much computer based and all the tools needed to integrate sounds into games are on a computer. Meanwhile, Harmonix designer Jason Booth states that developers need to work with a different set of tools for each platform because every game engine handles audio differently.
