ABSTRACT
The article discusses the purpose of the "Archimedes" section of this journal, which is to help practicing clinicians or pediatrics by providing evidence-based answers for practical and clinical questions relevant to the practice. The format of "Archimedes" is adapted from the "BestBets" column at the "Emergency Medicine Journal," developed by Kevin Mackway-Jones and the group. Information of clinical topics published in the web sites http://www.cebm.net and www.bestbets.org is presented.
