The article reports on a 70 percent growth in income and 56 percent increase in net profit posted by India-based Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd. (DFPCL) for the third quarter of 2007. It says that the sales of its isopropyl alcohol business were affected by a break in supply of refinery grade propylene due to a fire at the plant of a supplier.
